Elaine Fay started Goodhouse Designs in 2017 to help builders and new homeowners customize their

new construction projects in the Litchfield Hills. Her background in new construction and the challenge

of navigating the many choices one has to make when "building new" is what motivates her.

"The approach has always been to work with local architects, builders, craftsmen, and artists to marry

great design with individual needs in order to create functionally beautiful living spaces."

Goodhouse collaborates with Whitehall Construction and Fieldhouse Country Properties

to provide input on newly-built houses in Litchfield County. Our most recent

partnering is at Shepaug Crossing, a 280-acre enclave of 20 new residences In Bantam, CT.
